Jamb e-Pin

The e-Pin is used for 2019 UTME registration. The candidate does not need to waste any time in the registration centers.

The 2019 UTME form is available on the Remita website. CBT registration center will not accept your request without the e-pin.

How To Get Jamb e-Pin

It is easy and straight forward. Follow the steps below

  • Create a Jamb profile by sending Surname, First Name and Middle Name by SMS to the shortcode 55019
  • You will receive a confirmation code.
  • That is the Profile Code. It is a 10 digit code.

Where To Buy Jamb e-Pin

You can buy from the Remita website. You can also buy from GTBank online platform.

How to buy from GTBank platform?

  • Visit any of the Guaranty Trust Bank online platforms
  • Select “Schools and Examination Payment”
  • Click “Jamb” and follow the prompts.

You can also buy from www.acadapay.com. Visit the site and select the “E-learning tab” for Jamb preparatory videos. And “Jamb E-registration tab” for pin sale.

Or visit any GTBank branch closest to you, and request for it through their customer care.

Steps To Buy Jamb e-Pin Online

You have registered and gotten your 10 digit pin in the above step. Now complete the following step to buy your pin online.

  1. Login to Remita website here https://www.remita.net/jamb
  2. Select ‘Sales of JAMB/UTME Registration Forms’ in the ‘Name of Service/Purpose” column
  3. Now enter your registered phone number. (The number you use in receiving the confirmation code)
  4. Then enter other details
  5. Select how you want to pay
  6. Then click Submit
  7. That is it

Your PIN will be sent to your phone number and also displayed on your Remita receipt.

Direct Entry JAMB ePins

DE Candidate can buy original JAMB e-pins. Follow the below steps

  • First, register on JAMB Portal by sending Surname, First Name and other names as a text message to 55019
  • You will receive a confirmation code
  • Now visits Remita website here
  • Click on ‘Buy JAMB form’
  • Selects ‘Sale of JAMB/UTME Registration Forms’
  • Now select ‘Sales of JAMB/DE Registration Forms’
  • Enter your confirmation code
  • Select how you want to pay.
  • Then click “Print Receipt”. The JAMB DE PIN will be displayed on the payment receipt.
  • That is it.

How To Buy Jamb e-Pin Using USSD

This procedure is for GTB customers only. For UTME dial *737*33*23*Confirmation Code*. For Direct Entry candidates, dial *737*33*24*Confirmation Code*.

How Much Is Jamb e-Pin

How To Retrieve Jamb e-Pin

If your phone number is already registered on JAMB. Payer name will be retrieved from JAMB otherwise. The candidate has to get registered on the JAMB portal as described above.

How To Recover Lost ePIN

If by mistake you forget your pin, retrieving it back is easy. Follow the steps listed below;

  • If the e-Pin is lost, send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] to 55019
  • The pin will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Payment via USSD (Any Nigeria Bank)

  • Dial *565*6*55019#
  • Then enter your “Profile Code”
  • Select the bank and follow the prompts to complete payment
  • The e-PIN will be sent to the candidate’s mobile phone number
